About Me

Rajiv is an accomplished leader & entrepreneur with over 25 years’ experience in Strategy, International Business Management, P&L Management, Relationship Management and finds his purpose in mentoring, inspiring, motivating, and even leading his friends/colleagues to successfully achieve their goals and dreams – at a global level. To realize this purpose, Rajiv guides several small business owners/aspiring entrepreneurs and even Senior Leaders in large organizations on Strategy & Decision Making. Rajiv is also an Angel Investor.

Rajiv laid the cornerstone of Data Direct Group in 2002 and since then, the organization has established its footprint in 7 countries including – UAE (5 offices including HQ): Dubai (3); Abu Dhabi (1), Fujairah (1), Oman, Bahrain, KSA, Nigeria, Sri Lanka & India.

Data Direct is a global provider of best-in-class, innovative & knowledge-driven customer operation solutions and services that include Customer Experience/Contact Centre/BPO services, Records & Information Management Services, IT Solutions & Services, Direct Sales, Martech & Asset Management Services.

The team of 800+ employees, spread across multiple countries has successfully delivered over 3,000 projects to date. With one of the largest customer Experience/Contact Center facilities in the UAE – Data Direct Group is a renowned name in the corporate world and takes pride in its ability to remain relevant with changing times while maintaining its dominance in the market share.

Graduation (1988): Shri Ram College of Commerce; New Delhi, India

High School: St. Columba’s School, New Delhi, India

Born on 15 Oct – 1966 in New Delhi, India – Rajiv moved to Dubai after his Master’s and a couple of entrepreneurial adventures in business back home. While his family already had a well-established business at his disposal – Rajiv realized at an early age that his calling was entrepreneurship – he had to do it all differently & independently. This unassailable resolve brought Rajiv to Dubai where he laid the foundations of Data Direct Group.

Rajiv is married and has two children. While Mrs. Dalmia manages the affairs of their home seamlessly; their son, Aayushman has been associated with Data Direct Group for the last 5 years and now is the founder of his own start-up Zoftwarehub.com. Their daughter, Jhanvi, is pursuing her higher studies in Environmental Sciences at Northeastern University, Boston – USA.

An avid reader, Rajiv is also a poet and author. He loves his game of Tennis early morning or even some Golf on the greens during the day – just to give you a run for your money.
